Standards and the National Construction codes are updated as required. An update change can be as little as a few words but have a great impact on a contractors or distributors business

This standard was only introduced in 2019 but is now being updated. The standard governs fasteners into concrete in 'safety critical applications' which is an application that if it fails will endanger people and property.

The change that will impact contractors is the change from needing C1 compliance to C2. This impacts all Importance Level 4 buildings and some level 2 and 3 depending on the soil type and seismic site hazard factor.
